Here’s a moist, buttery, perfectly delicious classic Bundt cake recipe — simple, elegant, and works with any glaze or topping you like!


🍋🍰 Classic Vanilla Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)

  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

Optional glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 2–3 tbsp milk or lemon juice

  • ½ tsp vanilla


🥣 Instructions

1. Prepare the pan

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease and flour a Bundt pan very well, making sure to get all creases.


2. Mix dry ingredients

In a bowl, whisk:

  • baking powder

  • baking soda

  • salt

Set aside.


3. Cream butter & sugar

In a large bowl:

  1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.

  3. Add vanilla.


4. Combine wet & dry

  • Add dry ingredients in three parts, alternating with buttermilk.

  • Mix gently just until combined — don’t overmix.


5. Bake

  • Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.

  • Bake 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Let cool in the pan 10–15 minutes, then invert onto a cooling rack.


6. Add glaze (optional)

Whisk powdered sugar with milk or lemon juice until pourable.
Drizzle over the cooled cake.
