3 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)

4 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

2–3 tbsp milk or lemon juice

🥣 Instructions
1. Prepare the pan

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a Bundt pan very well, making sure to get all creases.
2. Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk:

Set aside.
3. Cream butter & sugar
In a large bowl:

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.

Add vanilla.
4. Combine wet & dry

Add dry ingredients in three parts, alternating with buttermilk.

Mix gently just until combined — don’t overmix.
5. Bake

Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.

Bake 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool in the pan 10–15 minutes, then invert onto a cooling rack.
6. Add glaze (optional)
Whisk powdered sugar with milk or lemon juice until pourable.
Drizzle over the cooled cake.
